The Road to Pro; this was my initial title. I did not intend to change it but The Photo Kamal emerged. From a journey drawn by my Grandfather (Kamal) long ago when he handed me the camera with which he recorded my childhood. Bearing similarity to that of the desert dwelling ungulates his name slowly took on a new meaning. Much like a that of camel, a long life consists of the inconsistencies, difficult terrain and working hard with very little nourishment. When resources are scarce, one must reach to push on. These morsels of nourishment become the life blood.
These are my morsels. A glimpse and a motivator to myself to reach to push on. Reaching toward a goal, a form, a finale. This is my experiment. My light. My play.
